If you transfer the value of a field from SAP, it is possible that the field has stored a template and so the value will be displayed on the SAP screen with the template character. Thus, for example, a material number will be displayed as 123.23.43.23-01 Now, however, you would like to transfer the material number without a wildcard character. Using the script below, you can simply remove the wildcard character.
